Kerry F. Hillis
Kerry is a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) and designated by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors as an Ontario Land Information Professional (OLIP). A partner with the firm since 1990, Mr. Hillis has over 30 years' experience managing and supervising projects at BSR&D Ltd.
Specialties include Legal boundary Surveys, construction surveys and layouts for residential, industrial and commercial development; topographic surveys, design of lot grading and drainage plans, boundary survey work for local municipalities and utilities and consulting services associated with severances and minor variances.
Ian is a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) and designated by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors as an Ontario Land Information Professional (OLIP). He has over 36 years of land surveying experience in Ontario and has been a partner with the firm since 1988.
Ian has extensive experience in managing and completing complex legal surveys, topographic and easement surveys, road retracement surveys, cemetery surveys, project control surveys, severances, subdivisions and construction layout (mostly large commercial, retail, apartment and institutional buildings).
Ian has earned a strong reputation for his attention to detail and insistence on consistently providing his clients with high quality surveys.
Nancy graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Urban Planning in 1978. She is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners and a Registered Professional Planner. She became a partner in BSR&D in 1989.
As a planner in Ontario for over 35 years, Nancy has extensive knowledge of the planning process, government policy and regulations. Her specialties include preparation of Planning Impact Studies, Policy formulation for Official Plans, OP amendments and Secondary Plans, subdivision design and applications, zone changes, site plans, minor variances and consents. She has been qualified as an expert witness at the Ontario Municipal Board.
Arie is a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) and designated by the Association of Ontario Land Surveyors as an Ontario Land Information Professional (OLIP).
Mr. Lise joined BSR&D in 2013. He has taken more than 400 mostly cadastral jobs from start to finish, and has experience with precision monitoring surveys to a very high tolerance (2mm +/-). Mr. Lise has 20 years of experience in the Engineering and Surveying Field.
Cy is a Certified Survey Technologist who joined BSR&D in 1996.
He specializes in site plans, construction surveys and legal boundary surveys, working directly with our larger clients.
Brian graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Urban Planning in 1978 and has a Master's degree in Urban and Rural Planning from Virginia Tech. He joined BSR&D in 2012, after many years as a municipal policy planner.
His work experience includes obtaining approvals for a variety of land development applications, Zoning By-law Amendments, Consents and Minor Variances as well as preparation of Planning Impact Assessments.
Bruce is a retired Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS). A former partner with the firm since 1974, he continues to provide land consulting services on a limited basis.
